The three-step process of checking the company registration on the MCA portal is as follows:
Step One: Visit the MCA portal and log in with your user ID and password.
Step Two: Click on the tab named ‘MCA Services’ and from the drop-down menu, click on ‘View Company/LLP Master Data.
Step Three: Enter the CIN of the company, and the captcha code. Next, click on submit.
This will redirect you to a page with these details:
● CIN
● Name of Company
● ROC code
● Company registration number
● Company category – Pvt Ltd, LLP, OPC or any other
● Class of company
● Incorporation Date
● Authorised and paid-up capital
● Number of Members
● Date of incorporation
● Registered address and e-mail
● Assets under charge
● Details of all the directors of the company
What is the process of downloading the company registration certificate?
The step-by-step procedure of downloading the company incorporation certificate is as follows:
Step One: Using the MCA userID and password, log in to the MCA portal and click on the tab named ‘MCA Services’. Next, navigate to the option of ‘Get Certified Copy’.
Step Two: Enter the CIN/company name for which you are obtaining the company incorporation certificate, and choose the details you would require.
Step Three: Choose the document for which a certified copy is required and the year in which the same has been filed. It is also necessary to verify the document via public inspection to proceed. Choose the number of pages, range and copies necessary for the certified copies.
Step Four: The certified copy for the company registration fee has to be paid, as the amount gets displayed on the screen, including the stamp duty charges. Click on the option of ‘Add to Cart.
Step Five: At this step, you will be able to add more documents for which you would require a certified copy. After choosing the documents, click on the option of ‘view payment details’, and make the payment using your suitable choice.
